This professional training gives you the method to build and run a laboratory quality system in line with ISO/IEC 17025 (testing and calibration laboratories) and ISO 15189 (medical laboratories): requirements, document control, method validation, measurement uncertainty, metrological traceability and internal audits. It prepares you to lead an accreditation process and to take on the role of laboratory quality manager.
Five Saturdays online, 10:00 to 14:00 GMT (10:00 to 14:00 Rabat time), i.e. 20 live hours: 13, 20 and 27 February, 6 and 13 March 2027. Sessions are shared with the « Système Qualité & Accréditation » module of the TargetUp University IMQHL Master (laboratory quality and hygiene).
Programme in five 4-hour sessions, live online, each built around key concepts, a case study and a workshop:
1. Accreditation and standards: ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189, the role of accreditation bodies, scope, impartiality and confidentiality.
2. Resources: staff competence, equipment, calibration, metrological traceability, environmental conditions.
3. Technical processes: review of requests, method validation and verification, measurement uncertainty, ensuring the validity of results.
4. Management system: document control, risks and opportunities, nonconformities, complaints, internal audits, management review.
5. Preparing for the assessment: role of the quality manager, how an assessment unfolds, frequent findings, action plan, case study.
What you receive: a TargetUp University certificate of achievement and your working tools: scope mapping, equipment control plan, method validation file and pre-assessment checklist. Accreditation is granted by the national accreditation body of your country: the training prepares you for the process without replacing it.

The training leads to a certificate of achievement from TargetUp University and prepares you for an accreditation process under ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 15189. Accreditation is the responsibility of the national accreditation body of your country.
